This Privacy Policy applies to the FastMoss browser extension. The Extension is designed to help users analyze creator and video data on TikTok public pages.

The Extension does not collect, store, or share your Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, browsing history outside TikTok, TikTok login credentials, passwords, or cookies. The Extension only processes limited public page data from the TikTok page you are viewing.

2. What Data the Extension Processes

To provide creator and video analytics, the Extension processes certain public TikTok page data. We separate local processing from cloud processing as follows:

• TikTok Creator ID - [Server Processing] When you view a creator profile or related video page, the Extension may extract the creator public ID and send it to FastMoss servers over HTTPS. We use this public ID only to retrieve and calculate creator analytics requested by the user. This data is not linked to your personal identity.
• TikTok Video Engagement Metrics - [Local Processing] The Extension may read public page metrics such as views, likes, comments, and shares. These metrics are processed in your browser locally to support on-page analysis. They are not uploaded to FastMoss servers for this local-processing feature.
• No Sensitive Personal Data - The Extension is not designed to collect health information, financial account data, personal communications, authentication credentials, precise location, or other sensitive personal information.

3. How We Use Processed Data

We use processed data only to provide the extension functionality requested by the user.

• To identify the creator or video currently being analyzed on TikTok.
• To generate creator and video analytics in the extension panel.
• To display analysis results relevant to the TikTok page currently open in your browser.

4. Chrome Permissions We Request and Why

The Extension requests only the permissions necessary to provide its functionality.

• Host Permission (for example, *://*.tiktok.com/*) - This allows the Extension to run on TikTok pages and read the public page DOM needed to identify creator IDs and public video metrics. The Extension does not run on unrelated websites for this purpose.

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We do not transfer extracted TikTok page data to external third-party companies except as necessary to operate FastMoss services under our control.

6. Data Retention

Creator public IDs sent to our servers are retained only as needed to provide analytics, maintain service operation, and meet legal obligations.

Video metrics processed locally in the browser are temporary and are cleared when the relevant page or browser context is closed.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures, including HTTPS/TLS in transit, to protect data processed between the Extension and FastMoss servers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect processed data using appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

8. Your Choices

You can stop all Extension data processing at any time by disabling or uninstalling the Extension from your browser.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, operational updates, or Chrome Web Store compliance requirements. If we make material changes, we will revise the Last Updated date on this page.
